What to clarify before clearing a flat, cellar or household.
1. Define rooms and scope clearly
List all rooms and areas to be cleared. Decide whether everything is to be removed or whether certain furniture and items must remain. Photos can help assess the volume in advance.
2. Secure personal and important items
Documents, cash, jewellery, keys, data carriers and sentimental items should be removed from the clearance area before work starts. Anything that must remain should be clearly marked.
3. Consider access and removal
Floors, narrow stairs, no lift, long carrying distances or limited parking can significantly affect the work. Special materials or items that cannot be handled as ordinary clearance goods should be disclosed in advance.
