Distribute weight sensibly
<p>Books and other heavy items are better in smaller boxes. Light textiles can fill larger boxes without making them unmanageable.</p>
Protect fragile items from movement
<p>Fragile items should be protected individually and packed so they cannot move freely against each other. Fill empty spaces appropriately.</p>
Labels save time at destination
<p>Label at least the destination room and general contents. Notes such as 'fragile' help but do not replace secure packing.</p>
